While many doctors have prescribed a low carbohydrate, high protein diet, these diets have no evidence to support that they can and will prevent cancer. The best diet to start with is one that can support your lifestyle choices, like exercise and low calorie foods. One method that’s shown to be successful in the prevention of cancer is that of a long term diet/training regime called the “Low Carbohydrate, High Protein/Low Fat” diet/training. This does not mean that it is a “failing diet” but that it’s a diet that supports your lifestyle choices and eating behaviors.
