Step 2- Get in shape
There is no doubt that to lose weight on a calorie deficit, you have to lose some weight. One of the best methods to do this is simply to do a little exercise.
The more you do, the more you will feel the effect of a low-calorie diet on your metabolism. Not only this, but the more you exercise, the more nutrients you will get from physical activity, in your blood, and your fat soluble vitamins and minerals.
Step 3- Eat right
The easiest way to stop dieting is to eat a balanced diet: moderate amount of carbs, healthy and complex protein, healthy fats, vegetables and fruits, whole grain breads and cereals, fruits and vegetables, and lots of olive oil or fish oil.
I like to eat salads and soups for lunch, and have some fruit before dinner and after lunch. I eat salads at least twice a day and try to eat some fish every day. My mother taught me that a salad for lunch is the equivalent to a hot sandwich with chips, onion and tomato on it. You should get into this kind of simple diet, which has an effect on your mood. Step 3a- Don’t go overboard.
If you go for a high-fat high-protein diet, you will have to restrict your intake. It is easy to go too far on that, but it is the more you limit, the harder to go back from. Your body learns: this is what it likes, and you may end up eating even more than required.
If you go overboard, you may end up hurting yourself or your body, and have to go back to a low-carb diet. The best thing is to go for the right balance of carbs, protein and fats, and do this very slowly to make sure that you are eating enough, while you can still maintain your health.
I like to eat at least 2 servings of protein with my meal, and to have around 50% of it as fibre. It is the most healthy kind of carbs, and I like to eat more of this type of nutrition on a low-carb diet than I could on a higher carb diet. And this is not only because I like vegetables so much.
