Why is it so hard to lose 5kg?
I think it’s very tough to have a binge on a low amount of calories as much as you try for your bodyweight. You’re not going to just eat tons of calories because they’re easier. It’s going to be hard to just go on and have lots of calories eaten while you’re training, unless you are a bit of a monster, but unless you’re a very hard core, you won’t make the big changes.
What other tips can you give to get rid of fat?
You do need to train hard and build up fat for the fast fat burning. You also need to work very hard in the gym and increase your cardio sessions. But I can tell you that if you are one the most active people I know, you will lose a ton of fat very fast.
So what advice would you give someone with an excess of muscle to get rid of their belly fat?
I would advise that you make sure you take a few body fat percentage tests at the doctor’s office. I have no problem with a doctor asking me how a person lost their belly fat, but I would recommend the person doesn’t just give a BMI number or a body fat percentage test, and if you want to lose belly fat, then you need to start working really hard on a lot of different things that you don’t have to do just to lose weight.
Do you have a favourite fat loss program? Is there one you feel would be the most effective for someone who wants to start losing fat?
There’s no one program I use. I can have a very good time doing many different things, but one thing I do have a weakness for is high intensity interval training. I’m a big fan of HIIT. So if there’s one thing I would really want to do as a long distance runner, I’d want to do that, and if I were to give a top recommendation, that would be high intensity interval training.
How can a runner get in shape and get in good shape?
