Can I order prints from Shutterstock under different pricing options?
Yes. Prices and subscription options change in response to changing demand. You may order a print via one of our subscription options. You may also select the option to print using your own image and set up print preview and save settings for printing.
Can I use Shutterstock to purchase printed copies of my photography for my own business?
No. We are not affiliated with Shutterstock and this is not a direct relationship. When you buy a print in the form described above (including printing at Shutterstock), you are ordering from Shutterstock, not your own business. Our print prices are based on a percentage of the print sold, which we calculate based on your subscription rate. There is no charge and you can print your own copy. And, our print prices do not include shipping.
Can I print images that are currently unavailable for printing at Shutterstock?
Currently unavailable images may remain in print indefinitely in case the image becomes available again through a resale. But, your print price may remain fixed or fluctuate depending on a range of factors, including the type of image, supply (e.g., demand & supply) and pricing structure. For example, with an unlimited print subscription you may be limited as to how many prints you can provide. If there is a limit, please contact us.
How can I print photos in my current portfolio/retro images?
If you print your work directly from Shutterstock, your prices may be affected by how much you have printed. However, you might save on print printing, because our minimum print price is set at 60%, which represents only the cost of the print. You must purchase the prints individually.
Can I use my current portfolio images as the basis of my upcoming prints?
We do not support any images you are not currently using: the images will remain as-is. If
