Is that for people who are very young?
No, we only recommend it to anyone under the age of 13 to start learning how to play violin. If you are 13-14, or even younger, you can certainly start now.
What happens to the lessons if I make it to school? Will teachers still come to me and let me play?
Absolutely! Most kids who attend the lessons will stay over, but I don’t do any practice. This is all about meeting the needs of each child. There’s no need for teachers to help you learn how to do your exercises, so don’t worry about those!
I’m trying to master the bow, but it seems a lot faster than the violin. Does it take longer?
No, you can just play all day long. Just practice to get to the point where you can play a full tune.
Will school help if I am playing with an older violinist?
Yes! You can use lessons with any age.
Are there lessons for the piano?
Absolutely! We have a lot of lessons planned, as well as violin lessons for students from kindergarten all the way to the 20’s, and we offer our piano lessons both online, which can help you with online lessons (which can be free), as well as on the go.
Does this include music for children from the age of 5?
Absolutely! If you have children who are 5-6 years old, the violin can be used at school for the duration of the school year.
If I go to music school I won’t learn much anyway, so what will I hear?
We have a full program that will lead you through what music school will actually teach you. Just like you learn how to play the violin, you will learn how to play music, and then you’ll have all the time in the world to master it! No matter how much you like the music, we promise that you’ll hear nothing that you don’t already hear before you go to school at music school.

When I was 6 years old my father passed away and I learned to play violin through his lessons. When I moved to Toronto in the fall of 2004, I was completely lost. I lived right down the street from my parents and couldn’t get a ride
