The best horses for racing are the ones that have been tested for endurance (horses that have managed to run for 5 hours at a time are considered competitive), speed, and stamina. A horse should be in a stable where it’s bred and trained in an environment that it can be handled in. A good horse will spend a lot of time in a stable and if it’s in a stable at least half the time, then a horse should be able to keep up with people and other horses in it.
In this race, the horses on the winning team must race for three hours in the wind. Each mile is about 2 miles. We will see that they run around the track at speeds of 20 to 25 miles an hour. For the first hour of every mile, the horse is running in a straight line. After that they will stop and let the wind knock them over.
