MEXICO CITY — The Mexican government is considering a ban on the sale of all electric cars in the country.
While there’s no timetable for a formal request to legalize electric cars or the removal of a tax of more than 50%, critics fear that this could be a step toward the imposition of a cap on the country’s population.
